Travel Diary: The South of France

7:21 AM

This summer, I had the opportunity to visit a few towns and cities along the Côte d'Azur in France; Nice, Eze, Monte Carlo, Antibes, and Cap d'Ail. These are some of the video highlights from that trip.

Notre-Dame Basilica, Montreal

2:40 PM

During my last trip to Montreal, I finally got to visit the Notre Dame Basilica. Aside from its historical and religious relevance in Montreal, this site is probably best known in Canada as the church where Celine Dion married her husband in 1994. The interior of the Basilica is comprised entirely of wood, a resource abundantly available in Canada. These pictures probably don't do it justice, but the level of detail in the sculptures and the woodwork is absolutely beautiful.

Five Things I Loved About Rio de Janeiro

6:40 PM

I had the opportunity to visit a place that had long been on my bucket list, Rio de Janeiro. I had my own ideas of what to expect. I had long seen the images of the famous Copacabana beach. The scores of beautiful women that lined the beach, in their barely there bikinis. I had heard about the gritty favelas, tucked away behind the glamour of Rio. The sights and the sounds, I wanted to experience it all, and more.  These are the five things I loved about Rio that made my trip memorable.

Paris: Two Days in the City of Love

7:59 PM

Two days is not even close to enough time to explore one the most famous cities in the world. Paris is filled with so much history and beauty. It felt surreal walking the down the Champs-Élysées, gazing at the iconic Eiffel Tower, pushing past the hordes of people in the Lourve, just to get a glimpse of the infamous Mona Lisa.
